Director Lou Hamilton makes feature films, documentaries and short films that are aimed at raising awareness around issues she cares about.

Lou Hamilton directed the film A Brutal Peace which was screened at the 4th World Congress on Traumatic Stress in Argentina 2006
 Lou Hamilton directed the short film The Emperor, which shows a soldier in the Falklands Conflict who finds a Sony Walkman in the battlefield. He watches the rest of the battle listening to Beethoven’s The Emperor.
